Malton is a sophisticated and understated design that has been part of our collection since 1998. Throughout the years, Malton has been designed in twelve different colourways, however it is the classic Malton Black that remains firmly in our collection with its enduring timeless appeal.

Malton Black also has a coordinating border design George Black which features the same subtle dotted stripes, with the addition of a bold bright herringbone border.

Calling out to us to be reimagined, we saw the opportunity to re-colour Malton and make it a new addition to our iconic Shetland Collection. This version of the design is a celebration of the natural palette of Shetland Wool.

Woven using undyed wool from the Shetland Sheep, this collection provides an eco-conscious choice for those looking for innovative and mindfully created, luxury design for the home. Using our signature weave, alternating bands of herringbone and dotted stripes in cream and warm grey tones are elevated against a textural light grey background, separated by a fine pinstripe.

Beautifully complemented by the organic tones of our Shetland Wool, Malton Light Grey uses just three of the six natural shades that make up the Shetland palette, revealing a timeless colourway that breathes new life into the design.

True to the original Malton design, the dotted stripes alternate in colour, but in this newest addition the contrast is much greater, highlighting the herringbone weave structure and creating a bold and graphic pattern.
