Monochrome Battista
We are currently flat out in the studio finalising the new Roger Oates Collection for later this year. Though we are almost there, it’s Monday and we couldn’t resist a little look at some monochrome architecture… We have just spotted these soft stripes and check patterns of the “Chiesa di San Giovanni Battista” a church designed by Mario Botta in Mogno, Switzerland.
Aside from the balanced stripe proportions of rock, and the almost ‘soft’ texture reminiscent of of our flat weave runners we think the gentle grey colours are just divine. The greys have a hint of green in within the them, they’re very similar to some of our new colours we have created for use in our 2014 collection. Time for a few last minute changes perhaps as we finish the new collection this week.
