The story behind REVISIONIST
Revisionist echoes original artwork, designs and sketches dating back to the 1980s...
Here in Eastnor, just outside Ledbury, you’ll find our head office, workshop and showroom located in the idyllic Somers Arms Farmhouse and Long Barn, part of the historic Eastnor Estate. Inspired by surrounding gardens, fruit orchards and rolling countryside, it goes without saying we love where we design, sew and finish our flatweave.
In the early days of Roger Oates, our roots were firmly planted in the market town of Ledbury, Herefordshire, with our original design studios and hand looms located on the picturesque cobbled Church Lane. Now, the bustling streets of Ledbury can be found just a stone’s-throw away from our showroom.
Located just off the High Street, our Ledbury showroom is tucked away on Tinsmiths Alley a short walk from the Ledbury Design Quarter. Those of you who know Ledbury might know the building we are talking about well – a modern abstract construction of metal and glass, with a beautiful curved roof, worth a visit for this alone. Set over two floors, the space is open and light-filled, showcasing our full Flatweave and Hand-Tufted collections. The showroom is also filled with our flatweave travel bags, furniture and cushions as well as ready-made runners.
Our inspirational Showroom that can be found in the centre of this historic town.

Travel back in time and visit Martin Clark of Tilley Letterpress Printing, whose traditional print-house sits on the same site as when they were founded back in 1875. Here you can see the Master Printer at work in this incredible space, where he operates his letterpress with great skill and craftsmanship. A quick walk from Tilley’s through the alleyways and you will discover The Design Quarter, housing the stylish Hus and Hem – the perfect place to shop a number of Scandi homeware delights.
