Meet “Masai” – generation 2.0 of “Tribal”, rescued from the Roger Oates archive about 18 months ago. Since hand-weaving a new version of the original stripe, we have spent time working on the colourways pushing to see how bright we could make the Emerald and Gold, and finding the perfect blues for the Indigo.
We constantly have different colour swatches on our stairs, although we don’t usually paint ours on.
The deepest, truest, most intense blue available; indigo. This finally could be our perfect blue… This guy has the look we like – The aptly named ‘Indigo Bunting’.
While we absolutely do not endorse ‘borrowing’ thousands of paperclips from the office to adorn your stairs, we do admire the time and attention to detail that must have gone into in creating this unique runner. We’re still for wool.
