A contemporary rug made using 100% wool Roger Oates flatweave in Flaxman Pewter. A gunmetal grey ground where fine pinstripes are framed by a bold border of ribbed monochrome stripes. Our Venetian Flatweave rugs are hand sewn by a skilled team in our Herefordshire workshop.

Flatweave Rug Service
Our flatweave rugs are made individually to order, allowing for a number of size and finishing options. If you are looking for something a little more unique, our sales team can advise on the steps to create a perfectly tailored rug for your space.
Edging Options
Rug Finishing
The edges of Venetian Flatweave rugs and runners are finished with either a Linen Tape or a False Selvedge. A Linen Tape can frame a pattern and a False Selvedge provides a clean, contemporary look.
Depending on design preference and layout, rugs and runners can be edged on either two ends or all four sides.

Linen Tape
Woven using 100% Linen, our tapes are available in both 76mm and 120mm widths in colours specially dyed to complement our Venetian Flatweave.
We develop our flatweave with an ethos firmly rooted in heritage and craftsmanship, using experimentation in colour, pattern and texture to maintain a contemporary edge.
