Introductions tells the story of flatweave and celebrates the part it has played in historic interiors. Using patterns and colours shaped through time, we present an informed and enduring collection to adorn a modern home.

A contemporary runner made using 100% wool Roger Oates flatweave in Malton Terracotta. A modern interpretation of a heritage ‘Roger Oates red’ sees subtle herringbone and rib bands in three shades, from deep copper through to soft terracotta on a cool beige weft. In contrast to its monochrome counterpart Malton Black, Malton Terracotta has a wider pattern repeat of three alternating colours, creating a dynamic design suitable for both modern and traditional settings. Our flatweave runners are hand sewn by a skilled team in our Herefordshire workshop.
