We are all for a well designed wooden staircase, and this one ticks all the boxes.  This is set is part of the newly renovated Les Haras de Stasbourg Hotel – this staircases is the swirling hub of the restaurant in the former royal stud building, designed by agency Jouin Manku.

We like the way the stripes of oak blend balustrade with walls, encircling the staircase and creating a dramatic sweeping focal point from every angle.
