Originally designed in 1989, now updated and woven with a contemporary herringbone structure. Revealing tonal greys and taupe, Charleston Fossil’s complex multi-stripe pattern features a single repeat, which makes a statement when used in a single width or seamed by hand into rugs or wall to wall areas.

VENETIAN FLATWEAVE
Simple Luxury for Modern Living
Since 1989, we have been designing and making Venetian Flatweave. We value authentic materials, rich textures and a delicate design balance.
A chance discovery of an 18th century cloth fragment, and a subsequent commission to re-make it led to the re-invention of flatweave flooring as a modern floor-covering.
Contemporary design, traditional process
We develop our flatweave with an ethos firmly rooted in heritage and craftsmanship, using experimentation in colour, pattern and texture to maintain a contemporary edge.
