2022 saw a number of exciting developments at Roger Oates Design, and after the launch of our flagship London Studio in 2021, we are delighted to open the doors to our new Showroom in the heart of Ledbury. Located in the centre of the town tucked away on Tinsmiths Alley, our new showroom is just a few seconds from the bustling highstreet and historic Market House. An inspiring and tranquil haven from the world outside, our showroom displays everything that Roger Oates Design has to offer, whilst providing a welcoming and unique experience. 

Open to visitors from Tuesday to Saturday, our new location showcases our full collection of flatweave alongside the unique textures of our Hand Tufted rugs, with design samples and visual examples waiting to be explored. Browse our newest collection and most popular designs, or if you are looking for advice on where to begin, our experienced team is on hand to provide guidance and inspiration. With a wealth of knowledge in both our designs and installation, our showroom staff offer in depth consultations, working with you at every step to bring your vision to life. You will also find the space brimming with our beautifully curated home accessories, including double-cloth throws, flatweave cushions and travel bags sitting alongside the exclusive Hembury Chairs by Solidwool.

For stair runner enquiries we are delighted to be able to provide a measure and fitting service for Herefordshire and our surrounding counties – including the Cotswolds and Welsh Borders. We understand that all homes and staircases are unique, so we recommend booking a one-to-one appointment with a member of our knowledgeable team who will then be able to dedicate time to you during your visit, providing the best possible service. To make the most of your consultation we suggest measuring the width of your stairs beforehand, and bringing along any photography to illustrate your staircase layout and requirements. We can provide guidance, inspiration and samples, followed by an accurate quote for installation once a full measure has been completed. For those unable to travel, we also offer over the phone consultations where we can discuss your needs and send out samples.

A picturesque and bustling market town, Ledbury is just a short drive from our Eastnor Headquarters and Workshop. The town has long had a strong connection to our history – it is where our founders Roger & Fay launched Roger Oates Design. In 1994, after many years on the picturesque cobbled street of Church Lane, we relocated a short drive out of town to Eastnor. Here we expanded; opening our head office, workshop, design studio and hand-loom in an inspiring Grade II listed property and its outbuildings, surrounded by rolling Herefordshire countryside and orchards. Nearly 30 years later, we are delighted to return to the town where our story began.

Our Ledbury showroom is now open and welcoming visitors from 10am – 5pm, Tuesday to Saturday.
