The entire range is made by our small, talented team in Devon with every rug design coming to life at our specialist Roger Oates workshop.

Individually made, each rug blends cutting edge technology with traditional techniques. Over the last two years we have been evolving our designs, developing an original, creative and collaborative platform for our clients.

From the initial drawings to production, every Hand Tufted rugs goes through a number of steps, with each one produced by hand using a number of unique approaches to hand tufting. Our rugs can have various pile heights and surface finishes created by using different types of wool, tufting and hand finished techniques.

When it comes to yarn, we use only the very best. Our very own 100% wool blend, spun and dyed in Yorkshire in our exclusive palette of 200 shades. Developing our new range of rugs has not only changed the way we work with wool, but the way we work with colour. In contrast to our flatweave where the yarn lays ‘flat’ on its side, the cut ends of the pile in our hand tufted rugs reveal a depth of colour, bringing new life and intensity to our heritage palette.

This led us to develop new colours and a new superfine rug yarn. This new finer yarn reflects light creating a ‘silky’ appearance, while still being 100% wool. To complement this yarn we have a new palette of soft colours which lend themselves to delicate new surface textures.

Our hand tufted rug portfolio offers a truly tailored experience for any project. Our knowledgeable designers offer guidance at every stage of the process, from the first enquiry and sketches to finished product. With our personal design consultation, initial concepts are realised in CAD form before being translated into individual hand tufted rugs. From design sign-off, a hand tufted rug can be delivered in just 6-8 weeks.
